This doll is similar to another doll in the Prop Collection. The doll (87.1.112, 2BB) was deaccessioned on 3/10/04 and entered into the prop collection as P-0069. It is a much larger doll, but the face is made from the same materials and the facial featured are also very similar.

Female doll with short brown synthetic hair. The face and hands of the doll are made from an orange colored wool felt. Underneath the clothing, the body is covered with off-white felt. The doll is dressed in peasant garb. She is wearing an off-white cotton scarf on her head, a long sleeved, knee-length navy blue cotton dress with white polka dots and an aqua cotton shawl with white stitching. She is holding a light blue umbrella made from cotton fabric in her left hand. Black string is wrapped around the lower third of the cloth part of the umbrella.

Male doll wearing a red txapela (hat). The face, ears, and hands of the doll are made from an orange colored wool felt. Underneath the clothing, a pink wool covers the harder structure of the doll. The doll has short synthetic brown hair with a widow's peak. He is wearing a long-sleeved collared white shirt and long pants, with a red gerriko (sash) made out of felt around his waist. He is playing a black txistu with details in white and red thread. He also has a small red tamborada (drum) made from leather, red felt, and black and white string hanging on his left shoulder.
