Notes:
This yoke could have been used to pull an oxcart. This yoke (and objects 2003.008.002 and 2003.008.003) was acquired in 1967 by Margaret Zerwekh while visiting the Basque country with her husband. They purchased two oxcart wheels and an oxen yoke from a "blacksmith shop/farm" just outside of Gernika. She thought it might have been southwest of Gernika, "as we were heading for Compostella." Object is stored in Collections Room 1, on shelf with ethafoam padding.
