This sheet, used inside a bedroll, has no maker's mark or labels to indicate a manufacturer. The sheet is composed of three pieces of fabric. One side of the sheet has a narrow piece of fabric stitched on at the end; the opposite side is a single piece of fabric. There is an opening at the top of the sheet. The hem around the opening contains a drawstring. Along one of the long sides there is a silver-colored metal zipper. The material looks almost tie-dyed, a result of the use of bluing. Grace married John Mainvil in 1952. They owned a sheep ranch in Riverside, California and later leased another ranch in Laview, CA. They worked these ranches from 1952 to 1972. In 1968, they also bought a sheep ranch in Weiser, Idaho, and ran all the ranches until 1972.
