Sepia toned print on cardboard backing depicting a large group of people standing on and near a train in an open field. The baggage car has, "Idaho Central" along the side and the number 724. On the back, handwritten first in pencil and then again in blue ink, "First train into Boise City, Sept 5, 1887." In pencil, "Palmer Jacobs." Then, "John Shankland in door of baggage car." John Shankland was the husband of Mary "Mamie" Jacobs.
