Join us at the Basque Center for one of the museum's annual fundraisers.  This evening includes a delicious Basque dinner, silent auction and live auction.  All proceeds benefit the Basque Museum and Boiseko Ikastola - Basque Preschool educational & preservation programs.  Tickets are required and are available in advance by calling 343-2671. 

John Huarte is a Basque who grew up in Southern California.  He played college football at the University of Notre Dame where as a quarterback, he won the Heisman Trophy in 1964.  John later went on to play professional football for several teams and was eventually elected to the College Football Hall of Fame in 2005.  John will discuss growing up as a Basque, what his culture means to him, and will also spend some time on his college years and his football career.

Homemade flan with caremel sauce

 

Courses served at your table with bread, butter, and wine
