Alain Erdozaincy

Alain Erdozaincy is a well-known  musician among the Basques of California and other western states. He plays txistu, drums, accordion, trumpet, bugle and cor de chasee. He is an incredibly versatile musician who has been playing for many years. Alain was part of a band that used to play for Basque social events such as weddings, picnics, and other occasions with him as main accordionist. He also played for the Zazpiak Bat San Francisco Basque Dance group for several years.

Alain plays the Txistu, Danborra, accordion, drums, and buggle and Cor de Chase with the San Franciso Klika. He recorded an Album in the begning of 1980s with the well known accordeonist Louis Camblour.

Alain taught the txistu to Valery Etxarren and other young Basque friends including Isabelle and Yvette Goyhenetche, Christian and Daniel Iribarren, Jacqueline Unhassobiscay, and Alain and Joel Urruty1. He also has played in the Klika of San Francisco.
