OMENALDIA Memorial Mass

The first “Omenaldia” was held in 1996 and since then the Basque community of Boise has gathered together to remember the loved-ones they’ve lost during the past year.  The memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, October 27th at 2:00 p.m. at Sacred Heart Church in Boise. If you would like someone who has died since last October to be remembered during the service, please contact Patty Miller at 343-1285.  A potluck will follow in the church hall…please bring a dish, hot or cold, if you’d like to participate.  The Omenaldia has become a wonderful way to celebrate the lives of those we’ve lost from our community and for those who’ve passed away far from their relatives here.
